Is it a bad idea to vacation alone?
I’ve been dealing with a lot of heavy stuff lately and I need to take myself out of this environment, clear my head and breathe.
I don’t want to be anywhere near my family, and all of my friends are married w/ children so them tagging along is out of the question too. As a single female, is it a bad idea to vacation alone?
I’m thinking of going back to San Francisco for a while. It’s the city I moved away from and I’ve been missing it dearly. I just want to clear my head for a week or so.

I have done this many times, even to differing countries. Although I always had my service dog with me, I was a lone traveler.
I am a very well-traveled 24 year old, and I am pretty small and short for my age, yet I have never had a problem. I say if you are confident and have the desire to get away from it all, go for it!
Especially if you know where you will be, as it sounds like you do since you want to go back to San Francisco.

Generally, the answer to this question is yes, it’s a bad idea. You’re considering going back to a place where you used to live, and where people would know you. Get back in touch with people you know who still live there. Let them know you’re coming, and when to expect you. You’re familiar with the area, too. Plan your trip well and take necessary precautions (don’t be on a street you don’t know after dark alone, etc.). I think it’s possible.

It is very good idea. I always want to be alone.
Why don’t you come to Japan? There are many good place here. place .And it is very safety I guess you can clear your head .
