what are some really good travel tips?
Does anyone know how to get the best deal on flights? I’ve looked on Priceline and Orbitz and the prices are decent($200 one-way, 1 person, 1 stop, 5 hrs. all together) but I was wondering if there was a miracle site I didn’t know about.
Oh yeah, we’re in the military.

Try Travelocity.com
This site searches all available offers for tickets, and finds the cheapest ones. That site works best for me.

I think most of the discount online sites are close to being the same… I just traveled from Detroit to the Philippines and back. I searched prices for 3 months and finally booked my flights about $25 more than the first day I saw them online hoping I’d find a reduction somewhere along the way. My purchase date was still 3 months in advance (about $1440). Also, all the sights will tell you what the travel times are once you get more specific about flights, so you may be able to save time by booking a specific flight over another…. In other words, if there’s a miracle site, its a well-kept secret. I dont know about any military considerations. Good luck!
